The Villa Index is every property we have reviewed or catalogued. Searchable by destination, bedroom count, must-have features, and price band. Updated quarterly with new inventory and removed when villas drop off the major platforms or fail our quality check on a refresh visit.
Each villa page contains the same data structure: bedroom configuration, square meters, exact location with distance to nearest grocery and restaurant, what is and is not included in the headline rate, the management company or platform that handles the booking, our short verdict, and a “what we would change” note.
We are not the booking site. We surface inventory from Vrbo, Booking.com, Plum Guide, Onefinestay, Inspirato, HomeToGo, and roughly 40 direct villa management companies. When you click “Check rates and availability,” you go to the platform that owns the listing. We earn a commission if you book. We say so on every villa page. We do not earn more for sending you to one platform over another.

The Villa Index is selective, not exhaustive. We remove properties that fail the quality check on quarterly refresh. We do not list villas with persistent manager-responsiveness issues, photography that does not match current condition, or repeat complaints about deposit-return practices. If a villa you have stayed in is missing from the index and you think it should be there, send the management company’s contact and a few photographs from your stay. We review every submission.
